After a couple of busy days the Diwali artwork is now complete and hanging at the back of the school hall. Please take a look next time you are visiting the school. We are delighted with what the children have made whilst learning about the ‘festival of lights’
The children in Pre-School, Reception, KS1 and KS2 have been drawing pictures of their faces for a tea towel that parents, carers, friends and family can purchase in time for Christmas, so an ideal present!
There will be 2 green tea towels – one of Pre-School/Reception/KS1 children and another of KS2 children. The cost will be £3 each.
Images can be seen below, or please click to see the designs and find your child!! Pre-School, Reception and KS1 Tea Towel and KS2 Tea Towel
Letters have gone home for you to submit your orders – please return by Monday 28 November.
The FoBS Team
We had a wonderful few days when the children were all involved in 2 Diwali art days where friends that Mr Culham met when he visited India a few years ago, came and led the children in some exciting art work. Their work will be put together to form a piece of art work that will be displayed in the hall in the next week or so. Hopefully we will have more photos to share with you of the finished item.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel the Year 6 trip to Gore Farm today due to high winds and heavy rain. It will be rearranged in due course.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Thank you to everyone who has sent in their Pudsey Bear colouring sheets. Over 180 entries have been received which is really fantastic. Our Y6 School Councillors having been judging them today and the winners will be announced in assembly this afternoon. All the proceeds raised will be going to Children In Need. Thank you again for all your support.
