We are regularly reviewing our approach to keeping our children safe when online; we would appreciate your feedback so that we can continue to ensure we are focusing our resources in the right areas.

We are looking to appoint a permanent full time Year 4 teacher.
Start date: 1 January 2018
We are seeking a teacher with a proven record of highly successful teaching to work alongside the existing year group teacher. The successful candidate:-
- either has the potential to be an outstanding teacher, or already is one!

- promotes active parental involvement and links within the community,
- is organised, dedicated and hardworking,
- has high expectations of themselves and of children,
- has an excellent knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

We are holding an Open Morning for parents/carers of prospective parents for our Reception intake in September 2018 on Wednesday 11 October 2017 from 9 am – 12 noon. This is an opportunity of seeing how the school functions during the day.
We are also holding an Open Evening on Thursday 12 October 2017 from 6 pm – 7 pm where you have the opportunity to meet staff and have a tour of the school.
We welcome all prospective parents to either of these meetings.
On Tuesday 10 October 2017 at 2.40 pm we are holding our KS1 Achievement Assembly to which parents and carers are warmly welcome to come along and see their child receiving their award.
On Wednesday 11 October 2017 at 2.40 pm we are holding our KS2 Achievement Assembly to which parents and carers are warmly welcome to come along and see their child receiving their award.
Our Y5/Y6 pupils are taking part in a Tag Rugby event at Westfield Academy on Wednesday 11 October 2017 from 3.20 pm – 5 pm. We hope they have a great time taking part in this event.
Our Y5/Y6 pupils are taking part in an Indoor Athletics competition at Westfield Academy on Tuesday 10 October from 2.30 pm – 5 pm. We hope they have an enjoyable time taking part in this event.
Multi-Sports Festival is taking place at Westfield Academy on Monday 9 October 2017 at 3.30 pm – 5 pm for our Y1 and Y2 pupils. We hope they have a great time taking part.
CASUAL MIDDAY SUPERVISOR / MEALS SERVER
We are looking to appoint a new member of our lunchtime team on a casual basis to cover staff absence / redeployment. Duties will range from supervising children eating lunches, playing outside or serving the hot meals. All of which ensures lunchtimes operate smoothly and efficiently.
Lunch duty is from 12 noon to 1.30pm. Due to the nature of cover needed availability at short notice would be an advantage. Rate of pay £7.83 – £7.90 per hour.
