On Thursday 20 December 2018 – our Reception and KS1 children are going to the Octagon to see Aladdin. They will be taken by coach from school and will return in time for lunch. This is a great opportunity for the children to see a live stage performance.More

On Tuesday 18 December we have our school Christmas lunch and Christmas Jumper Day. The children will wear normal school uniform but can wear a Christmas jumper on top. Children around Yeovil were invited to enter the Children’s Christmas Light Design competition organised by Yeovil Town Council. The winner of this competition was one of our Year 6 pupils CONNIE BARCLAY. Her design was sent to the Christmas Lights manufacturer to be produced and is now displayed with the other Christmas lights in the town centre – its a Christmas stocking so please look out for it. Connie was invited to switch on the Christmas lights in the town and was also interviewed by BBC Somerset. Well done ConnieMore
Our children are looking forward to performing their Christmas nativity ‘Baubles‘ to parents and family members. A letter will be going home soon to place orders for tickets.

On Thursday 8 November 2018 the town council held a service to remember those who had died fighting for their country in WW1. Schools were invited to attend and it was a great privilege that
4 pupils from Y4 and Mr Culham were able to attend. The children were invited to place a cross at designated graves.
On Friday 23 November 2018, there will be a non-school uniform day for children where children are asked to bring in £1 which will go towards prizes for the FoBS Bingo event that is being held later that evening (7 pm). We value your support in these fundraising events.More
