On Friday 13 January 2017 at 8.40 am we are officially opening our new play equipment. FoBS have had great success in raising funds for this equipment and the children will, I am sure, have great fun using it. Please come along and join with us in unveiling this equipment.More
We have had some wonderful entries for our star and hat competitions from our KS1 children. The winners have received their prizes. Well done to everyone who entered.

Our Pre-School, Reception and KS1 children held their nativity performance of Bethlehem Buzzin’ last week. They held 4 performances and it was lovely to see parents, carers, grandparents fill the hall for each performance. It was a lovely start to the lead up to Christmas. Thank you for your continuing support.
Our KS2 children and staff are working really hard towards their Carol Service which takes place on Friday 16 December 2016 at St Michaels Church at 2 pm. It would be lovely to see the church full, so please come along and support the children. |As you may recall, our focus this term has been to raise funds to further extend our playground equipment.
We also raised funds for Children in Need and I’m delighted to tell you that we raised £342.
Our wonderful FoBS committee organised the Lands End to John O’Groats sponsored walk and to date this has raised £1,661.25. Please send in any further sponsor money asap! It is hoped that Phase One of this project will start in the next couple of weeks.
The Discos raised £549.70 which all makes this a very successful term. Thank you to the FoBS committee and very well done!
The Christmas Decoration competition – these need to be returned to school by Thursday 8 December so that they can be judged on Friday.
The tea towels are due to be delivered to school next Monday so these should be sent home at the beginning of next week.
FoBS would like to thank all the volunteers who helped with the recent disco and wish everyone a Happy Christmas.
