We will once again be supporting Comic Relief in their Red Nose day on Friday 24 March 2017 but this year our School Councillors have suggested raising money by making a school joke book. All pupils are encouraged to write a joke and these will then be published in the book and sold on the day. Children should wear their school uniform as normal but they can wear something red to decorate it. Red noses will also be on sale leading up to the 24 March. Further details to follow.More
On Thursday 26 and Friday 27 January 2017 we welcomed 26 colleagues from 9 European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Turkey). The aim of the visit was to forge links with our school and to look at how our history unites us. There was an official welcoming assembly attended by our town Mayor and Mace Bearer. Our visitors also visited local sites around the area. We look forward to continuing our links with our European friends.
